EX-RESIDENT GENEROUS. (Per Press Association.— Copyright.) GISBORNE, This Day. As a parting gift to his native town, which he was revisiting after an absence of eleven years, Mr W. Barrington Miller, well-known in theatrical circles and now resident in London, left with trustees the sum of £IOOO, to be applied for the advancement of various sports, also trophies valued at £250, which he had purchased in Loudon as gifts for local sports bodies.
