CUES HOUSE BURNED DOWN
EXCITING ESCAPES. SHEETS REQUISITIONED. (Australian Press Association.) (Received 8.51 a,m.) MELBOURNE, August 21. The largest guest house at the seaside resort of Lakes Entrance, Gippsland, conducted by C. Broome, was burned early this morning. Several guests made their escape through windows or by lowering themselves by sheets from the upper floor. * Four men were slightly burned.
