THE WEATHER
COLD AND 1 SQUALLY. The Weather Bureau has issued the following forecast for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day:— The indications are for southerly winds, strong to gale, but decreasing gradually. The weather will probably prove squally and changeable, with showery conditions, but there are indications for a temporary improvement shortly. The temperatures will be cold. The barometer is rising slowly. Seas heavy off shore and tides good.
