A meeting of business men voted in favour of establishing a Commercial library as part of the Municipal Library and determined to ascertain what 'contributions towards the cost could be relied on. The library authorities told the meeting that the city had no funds for the purpose, but could find a room in the Municipal Library. The, estimated expense is £3OO.
