Arthur Owen was charged with using promises in Hallensteiin’s Buildings as a common gaming-house. Rntone Takina, Cornelius Patterson and Samuel Bardwell were charged with frequenting a street for the purposes of betting. Owen, who pleaded guilty, was fined £IOO and costs. Takina was. fined £25, and the informations against Bardwell. and Patterson dismissed.
