ROBBER’S RUSE
VICTIM BLINDED WITH PEPPER,
(Australian Press Association.) (Received 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE, August 17. An armed robber who held up Frank Garden, .manager of a grocery establishment at Prahran, dashed a handful of pepper into Garden’s eyes when he fought for possession of the thief's pistol. The robber got away with £lO.
