DUNEDIN, This Day,
The con (lit ion of William Homy Brannian, who shot his wife and then attempted to commit suicide by shooting, himself, is unclranged. Though not in a critical state, he Iras suffered severely from the bullet wound and great loss of blood. The police are inquiring as to the identity of a man who is reported to have been within a few yards of the ■scene of the tragedy. His evidence as an eye witness would be valuable.
