MADE FROM NEiW ZEALAND WOODS. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Some time ago, Mr A. R. Entrienn. engineer of forest, products for the Forestry Department, sent a quantify of New Zealand fawn, a native hard wood, and New Zealand grown* pinns insign is and riinn logs to the paper mills in the Edited States for mannfaeturo into newsprint and other classes of paper manufacture. This was accomplished successfully and several tons of various classes of paper were returned to the Dominion. The newsprint paper was used last night hv the Wellington “ Evening Post'* for several of its pages. The resnll is .most gratifying, the paper appearing to he all that could be desired for the purpose.
