BOUNTIFUL HARVEST
MURRUMBIDGEB BICE CROP. (Australian Press Association.) (Received 10.12 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The rice crop on the Murrumfbidgee irrigation area is expected to yield this year 25,000 tons. ' The area under crop is 15,000 acres and the average yield 93 bushels of paddy rice per acre. About 5000 tons will have to be exported. The crop is regarded as the best since this industry was launched.
