~ (Per Presa Association, —Copyright.? WELLINGTON,- This- Day. The New Zealand Society of Professional Musicians’ Conference was opened today‘by the Hoii. H. A tin ore, Minister of Education. Mr Robert Parker was in the chair. Mr.Atmore. said he recognised ;the importance of music, and in training colleges,.-trainees were under, the control .of highly skiflled musicians. The Mayor, Mr G. A. Troup, .welcomed the delegates to Wellington, and Sir John Luke, wdin piloted the Registration Act through the House also spoke.
