Jasper Caldor on proceeds of a concert to be given by a party from H.M.S. Diomede in aid of the “Down and Outs” Doss House. The special circumstances of the appeal are considered by Sir Joseph Ward to warrant a subsidy as the Doss House is non-sectarian and something altogether apart from the City Mission.
