FOURTEEN MOUNTAIN PEAKS.

Commander Byrd has wirelessed Mr R. G. Brophy, second in command, noVc in. Auckland*. “Discovered 14 hew mountain peaks on flight yesterday' ’ (Monday). -'The discovery seems to indicate that an entire new mountain range has been found. Mr Brophy does not expect to receive further particulars for several days.
