KEEPING GOLF GREENS

Each of the 2000 golf clubs in Bri tain has been asked to subscribe £2 each yearly to establish a board of research, fior scientific investigation of green-keeping problems, on which at present £1,000,000 a year is being spent. Acknowledged experts of the Ministry of Agriculture, agricultural colleges and the Bothamsted experimental station are co-operating.
