OBITUARY
■MALCOLM GALLOWAY,
(Special to “Northern Advocate.’O' AUCKLAND,, This Day. The death occurred yesterday of Malcolm, Galloway, of Papatoetoe, in his 79th year. Until a few' days ago he enjoyed good health, and last Wednesday evening assisted the .choir of St. John’s Presbyterian Church at < the annual social. Mr Galloway Session Clerk to St. John’s and was a keen church worker.
Deceased was born at Leslie, Fifeshire, and arrived in Auckland on the ship Jessie Osborne, 52 years ago. settled in the Pukekohe district and was farming until 1013 when he retired and settled in Papatoetoe. As a keen bowler he was known on most greens in the Auckland district. Mrs Galloway died 17 years ago. There was a family of 15 children. GEORGE MONDt. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.)
