BUTTER PAY-OUTS

The Wh'angaroa Co-operative Dairy Company reports an increase of over five -tong of butter for November, making a total increase <of over 16 tons so far this season. The pay-out is at the rate of Is 4id per lb for finest butter-fat and Is 4,d for first grade. 'The peak period has been reached, but good showers have fallen recently, and the supply is expected to be maintained.

Cheques for the November supplies of butter-fat will be paid out by .'the Northern Wairoa Dairy Company, 'Ltd., on Thursday. Enquiries made today at the various butter factories contingent to Whangarei, discloses the pleasing information that the month of November tyas established a record for but-ter-fat. production and consequently the cheques receivable by tho various suppliers tomorrow will be larger than usual and come something in the nature of a welcome Christmas box. The figures for the Whangarei. factory are: Pay-out for November, 1925, £20,150 17s 7d at 1/5, as compared with £23,733 3s Od, at 1/4 for tile corresponding month : last year. Total pay-out for season to date, £73,578 16s 6d, as against £61,204 12s lid dor the similar period of last year.
