(From Our Own Correspondent.) BOWLS. Morgan and Roberts challenged Yukieh and Pan sin a for these coveted trophies, but could not sustain the challenge, being defeated 20 points to 10. TENNIS. The second grade players of the , Kawakawa Tennis Club visited Kaikohe and tried conclusions with the homo (Hub’s second grade players. An exciting afternoon’s play resulted in a draw, both clubs winning 10 sets ' and 128 games each. The results are as follows, the Kaikohe players being mentioned first:— Men’s Singles.—Guerin lost to McRae, 0 —!); Barnard lost to Fraser’, 7 0; Rayner beat Te Tuhi, 9 —o; Moore beat McLaughlin, 9 : —0; Alcock lost to Rogers, o—9. Ladies ’ , (Singles.—Miss Smith lost to Miss Piggot, 4—7; Miss Bolden lost to Miss L. Hall, 7 —9; Miss Harrison beat Miss G. Hall. 7—4.
