CAPE-CAIRO TREK
FIRST 1000 MILES COVERED. (Australian Press Association.) (Received 10.50 a.m.) CAPETOWN, October 11. 'Cooke and Moouson completed the 1000 miles of their Walk to Cairo today in 33 days, beating the record by five days. The country was sun-baked and made walking hard. They had wonderful receptions along the route.
