j A WORTHY CAUSE. i 1 Prom a conversation overheard yesterday, there seems to be a doubt lingering in the minds of some of the residents of the town as to the object for which The Whangarei Frivolity s Minstrels are staging their entertainment on Labour Night and the night f Hewing. This particularly bright and breezy show is being staged in aid of the installation of a wireless set at the Whangarei Public Hospi tal,, with a full equipment for each ward. This will enable patients who are well enough to Listen, to whUe away long afternoons and cvenihgs. ■As no person can definitely say that !io’ or she will not be an jnmate of the institution in the future, it behoves everyone to purchase a ticket and so help along one of the best causes brought before the attention of the public for a very long time. The Frivolity Minstrels are pledged under their constitution to devote the whole of their efforts to assisting some worthy cause, gnd- members of the public need have no fear that funds will be diverted to any other cause than one deserving of the utmost public interest.
