DARKNESS ON THE DEEP
DUST STORM ENCOUNTERED. RED SEA REPLICA. (Australian press Association.! (Received 8.18 a.m.) SYDNEY, October 10. The schooner Margaret W arrived today from Gisborne. Captain Watchlin reports a stormy passage of 10 days. When 400 miles off the Australian coast the vessel encountered a dust storm similar to those of the Red Sea. Visibility was less than a mile in the daytime while the dust lasted.
