PASSENGER-AIAIL CONTRACT.
ADELAide-pkr th sE RVI GE. (Australian Press Association.} (Received noon.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Minister of Defence lias accepted a contract for an aerial mail and passenger service between Adelaide and Perth which will begin in April, JO2D. The contract is for live years, upon a subsidy of £7o,Odd yearly. The aeroplanes will each
carry 14 passengers. The English mails arriving at Fremantle will thus reach Adelaide by aeroplane on the following day.
