DOUBLE MURDER
SUSPECT ARRESTED,
SAID TO BE A NEW ZEALANDER
(Australian Press Association.) (Received 11.19 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. The police at Silkwood arrested a woodcutter on a charge of the murders of Young Kee and Willie Cheong, a Chinese storekeeper and his son. He stated that he is a New Zealander but his name lias not been disclosed.
(A man passing a Chinese, Young Koe’a, general store at Silkwood, near Iniiiisfa.il, noticed one of the rooms in disorder and investigated. found the mutilated bodies of Young Kcc and his son, Willie Clieong, aged 1 , with the heads 'battered to „a pulp, lying in a litter of wrecked furniture, giving evidence that a violent struggle had been made for their lives. The police have a difficult task in tracking the murderer, as heavy rain obliterated all marks in the vicinity of the store.)
