WHOLESALE MURDER
IDENTITY OF CULPRIT.
(Australian Press Association.) (Received 8.37 a.m.) LONDON, May 21. The name of the man, alleged to have committed the wholesale murder at Pasanant, in the province of Tarragona, is given as Jose Marimon, aged 26.
The following message was published yesterday: —The Madrid correspondent of the “Times” says: A youth in the village of Pasanant in the province of Tarragona, induced children to come to the fields to watch pigeon shooting. He shot seven children dead with a double-barrelled shotgun and killed eight en route to the village, where he shot a woman dead, wounded another and slew' her with an axe. He wounded five more .and fled pursued by tin* police. He has not been captured.
