“It's hard to get a jury of 12 men to agree, and when it comes to asking 18 fanners to. agree, to a .drainage scheme, I think we have done exceptionally well to have only four objections.” This was a remark by a member of a deputation to the Geraldine County Council at its last meeting, which caused a good deal of laughter.
