Clarence Gell and Stanley Mortimer today lost the national racquets doubles championship, which they had held since 1915, being (defeated by the English team, J. C. F. Simpson and C. N. Bruce: 16—15, 15 —8, 15 —11,. 15—8.—A. and N.Z.
