DIRECTED BY WIRELESS. ELUSIVE NAVAL TARGET, (Received 9 a.m.) LONDON, November 8. Numerous Australians who are attached to the Atlantic fleet for purposes of gunnery training will next week be shooting at the uncanny and elusive old battleship Centurion, which will be a target ship without a soul aboard. She. is installed with new, perfect apparatus, to which the controlling destroyer will send a wireless ray, in obedience to which the Centurion will deviate, turn, speed up, and slow down in such a way as to keep the gunners busy.—A, and N.Z.
