FOR DISHONEST ELECTS TITAN. WELLINGTON, This Day. Air .1. H. Salmon, S.M., imposed a sentence of one month’s imprisonment on Horace Claude Walnwright, an electrician, aged 42, who stole an electrician’s .megger and a prismatic compass, valued at £SO, from the hall of a, private hotel where he was staying, and which he left without paying his hoard, A charge of complicity against Norman Oswald Smith, who sold the compass to a pawnbroker for 5/- was dismissed, Mr Salmon holding that the evidence was insufficient to convict.— Press Assn.
