TUBE RAILWAY DISCOVERY. 1 . A HARMLESS TIN. , (Received 9 a.m.) LONDON, September .15. The “Daily Mail” says that the Home Office. and Scotland Yard are investigating the mystery of a bomb with a burned fuse discovered in the underground railway between Charing Cross and the Temple. It adds: “Many anonymous letters threatening, damage, since the execution of Sacco and Yanzetti, have not been given any great credence, but •the : Home Office has decided to prevent the possible arrival in’London of Vanzetti’s ashes entrusted to his sister.” ' 1 ; " ■■■ ' ; " ' ■ It transpires, however, that the supposed bomb, after examination' by the authorities, proved to be only a harmless tin containing ah bunee of photographic magnesium;—Sim.
