A series of football accidents occurred on Saturday. S. A. Lowry sustained a broken jaw in a senior League football match. L. Boyle, a second-grade League player, had a bone in a foot broken. Evivian Viso, a second-grade Rugby player sustained a broken leg. F. Tye and 6. Warins, junior Rugby players, sustained a broken collarbone and broken bone in the foot respectively.

FOUND DEAD. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Daniel Fitzgerald, single, of Islington, was found lying dead by the tramline near the Bush Inn, Rieearton, at 1.30 o’clock yesterday morning. There was a bicycle near, which showed signs of having been run over l»v a vehicle.
