EXPERIENCED THIEVES
OPERATE AT MERCERY STORE
GISBORNE, This Day,
The police have been advised that a burglary, bearing all the indications of participation by experienced thieves, was committed last night at the premises of Common, Shelton and Company, the burglars escaping with mercery valued at more than £BO. Entrance was gained by a route that could be known only to someone acquainted with the building, four doors being forced. The intruders carried out the raid with close attention to detail, taking goods only of certain sizes.—Press Assn.
