RESTORATION OF SPECIE,
(Received 9 a.m.) PARIS, April 6. , It is reported that the Bank of England has accepted the offer of M. Moreau, Governor of the Bank of Prance, for the prompt payment of' £33,000,000, the balance of an advance;-'' of £55,000,000, and restoration by theBank of England of £18,000,000 in. gold deposited as security therefor. It is presumed that the Bank of Prance is anxious to repay the debt earlier than was arranged and to recover the gold, An order to strengthen its financial position, preparatory to stabilisation of the franc. —A, and N.Z.
