“The age of miracles is not passed,” said a member of the Wandworth Board of Guardians, when referring to restoration of the face of Mr Gillies, a New Zealander, who was an inmate of the local hospital. He had his nose, an eyelid and a cheek blown off in war time.
The speaker added that the patient was now more handsome than any member of Board,—A. and N.Z.
