OTAKI HOSPITAL
• PROTEST AGAINST CLOSING. OTAKI, This Day. As the result of an accident case reported as being refused admission toi the Otaki hospital yesterday, _ a meeting of citizens passed a resolution today asking Mr W. H. Field, member for the district, to demand from the Minister of Health that the hospital be not only kept open, but made more up-to-date. Similar resolutions were passed at a school committee meeting and a hockey association dinner, while various bodies are combining to assist A' la'rge meeting of protest.—Ptresa Assn.
