Fishing for bream in the surf at Harrington, on the north coast of New South Wales, a man landed a 2ft 6in sea snake on the beach. He thought he had an eel on the line, and was about to unhook it when the serpent turned, and the yellow body flashing in the moonlight aroused his suspicions. The snake was killed with a stick. It was jet black on the back, with a yellow scaly body. Its head was like an ordinary snake’s, and, the tail was fan-shaped. The reptile w r as taken to Taree and preserved in spirits.
At the first sign of a cold in the head or throat—due to germ infection —frequently inhale Nazol, which -will counteract the infection and give relief.
