GLEN AFTON STRIKE
MINE TO BE SEALED AUCKLAND, This Day. There being no immediate prospects of a settlement of the strike at the Glen Afton collieries, the management is removing the electric motors to the surface preparatory to sealing the mine entrance. The miners were given until noon to day to remove their tools. The company confirmed its. previous decision that* the men must return to work before further negotiations can be considered. A- meeting of the men,is to be held at Huntly today.—Press Assn.
