STORMY AND HEAVY RAIN. The Weather Bureau reports the following forecast for the 24 hours * from 9 a.m. today:— ’ Southerly winds, strong to gale, pre vailing. Stormy weather may be expected, with heavy rain. The weather will probably become colder. The barometer .is rising. The tides will be good and the sea rough off shore.
