| MOTOR CYCLE RUNS INTO CAR II * EIGHT PEOPLE INJURED. ONE MAN KILLED. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. * A motor cycle and sidecar with four 1 men collided with a motor cur on ■ Page’s Road . In the car were seven ; adults and an infant. The four cy- ! clists were sent to hospital, and one, > R. Milner, died. Another, Calder, was > operated upon. The third, D. McKen--5 zie, is in a serious condition, but. is improving. The fourth, J. Haase, is 1 not seriously hurt. 1 Five women, passengers in the car, I received treatment at the hospital. They r were then able to proceed home. Two - men and an infant were unhurt. The cycle, which was heavily laden, t >, said to have been travelling very - fast, and was unable to get round a 3 co-rev. It smashed into the car, which i. was considerably damaged. The sideT car was torn in half. —Press Assn.
