Searcher'; discovered in the sand at North Brighton over £2O worth of tobacco, pipes, razors, and shaving requisites, which had been stolen from the shop of Mr E. Prothero, Cashel Street, on the night of December 17. The goods had been placed in tins, and buried deep in the sand. The search was undertaken after one of the men convicted in connection with the robbery had confessed, telling where the goods were hidden.
