A special, tribunal has been appointed to deal, with persons charged with: being concerned in snbvcrsive acts, inquiring' into their activities.
General Pangalos, in a statement in>iregard to the arrests, says that temporary removal of the arrested persona is necessary, because alarming rumoura have recently been circulated involving the name of M. Papanastasiou and: General Kondilis.
Others are of opinion that the rumours are baseless, but if it is proved that the arrested persona really intended to disturb public order an* wreck the Government they should ba 1 exemplarily punished.
General Pangalo sees no danger-to' public order. • He states that \ those arrested will be taken inland.
The rumour of a naval mutiny IS contradicted— 'Renter.
