LLOYD GEORGE LAND POLICY.
ONE OP MAIN PLANKS. (Received 9.5 a.m.) ** LONDON, February 17. A great Liberal convention opens today in’London for the purpose of final consideration of Mr. Lloyd George’s - land policy, which caused Sir Alfred Mond to leave the party. ‘ Fifteen hundred delegates are attending from constituencies all over the country. The Earl of Oxford will be present. Mr. Lloyd George’s attendance is uncertain, as he is suffering from a chill Amendments will be proposed. The policy, after adoption, will become one of the chief planks of the., party.—A, and N.Z. ■ ,
