JAPANESE TRAINING SHIP
VISITING NEW ZEALAND. WELLINGTON, This Day. The Japanese training ship Iwate arrived from Sydney shortly before 8 o’clock this morning. A salute of welcome was fired from Point Jemingham. , The Iwate remains here until Tuesday. She then goes to Auckland, remaining there until March 3. There are 95 cadets on board being instructed in navigation and engineering, also 18 young doctors. A number of official visits were paid today.— Press Assn.
