SERIES OF ROBBERIES
THREE OFFENDERS ARRAIGNED. NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. At the Supreme Court today, William Sydney Stroud, Leonard Edward Smith and John Berg pleaded guilty to charges of breaking, entering and -theft from a number of business places, dwellings and the Boys’ High School. The total value of the goods stolen was £134. There was also a cheque for a large amount. Accused were remanded for sentence. —Press Assn.
