TERRIFIC SLAUGHTER
“MASSACRE” AT MOEEEWA. In order to quit an overplus of building timbers the Kauri Timber Company has decided to slaughter prices in no uncertain manner. The ‘ ‘ massacre ’ ’ will take place at the firm’s mill at Moerewa, and its advent will give builders, contractors, farmers, carpenters, and others a unique opportunity of securing unlimited supplies of kauri, rimu and totara at practically, their own- figure. The firm is determined to reduce its present stocks in order to make room for new cuts off the saws. The timber to be sacrificed is very suitable for housebuilding, and the management extends a hearty invitation to those interested to pay a .personal visit of inspection.
