WOMAN'S MOTOR TRIP.
DARWIN, This Day.
Mrs Marion Bell and her 11-year-old daughter, who are motoring overland from Perth, have arrived at Emungalan. Interviewed there, Mrs Bell stated that' the country was very dry in the west, but heavy rain fell during the past few days in the Victoria Kiver district. Her car frequently became bogged and they were in difficulties many times. At one stage, beyond Fitzroy, they suffered severely from thrist, ' but were relieved by a fall of rain, and caught a supply of water in a : '■waterproof sheet. This was in the 'section where Morgan perished some years ago.
Mrs Bell speaks in glowing terms of the hospitality she has received everywhere. A' large part of the journey was made without maps, but no difficulty wa& experienced in finding the way. '-
