GRAND REVUE
TOWN HALL TONIGHT.
The Whangarei Town Hall will be a scene of merriment tonight, when a Grand Revue will be presented by the Merrymakers' Revue Company, the object being to raise funds as a benefit to an ex-bandmaster of the town.' The Eevue, which is to be elaborately mounted and produced, is full of snap and pep. The humour is clean whilst the frocking is on a very lavish scale. Whilst the prices, of admission are low and the object a very worthy one still the Eevue itself warrants hearty support. An initial performance given in Dargaville last week drew a good house, and those who attended wtere loud in their praise of the artistry shown. Included in the programme for tonight are two little playlets entitled "An Exciting Affair" and "Pun in the Kitchen," both of which bristle with fun and tense situations. The ladies and gentlemen of the .company have been rehearsing very assiduously for some time past and when the curtain rises this evening there sho" ---;- be a- vacant seat in the auditorium. The incidental music will be supplied by the Whangarei Silver Band and its Lyric Orchestra. Remember, doors open at 7.15, fun starts at 8 prompt.
