BOROUGKK FACILITIES,

(To tho Editor.)

Sir, —In your issue of November 24 and under the above heading your correspondent Jas. Wilson states: "Mr. Brake, Snr,, waited upon the Council at its last meeting in relation to the removal of the taxi stand." Mr. Jas. Wilson is under a delusion in this matter. I did not ivait on the Council for such, purpose, or even suggest anything of the kind. If Mr. Wilson likes to make an appointment with me I will show him what I did wait on the Council about and gained ats approval. Moreover, as Mr. Jas. Wilson seems interested in "Borough. Facilities," I believe he will, when he knows what it is, approve of my scheme. I would. Jike to add that I agree with Mr. Wilson re "Kathbone Street 'Convenience" until I see more urgent need for its removal than I Shave yet seen.-

—I am, etc., J. BRAKE, BENE.
