WOOL PRICES DOWN
AT WANGANUI SALE,
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Whangarei, received a telegram yesterday afternoon stating that prices at the wool sales at Wanganui. were down from Id to IJd lb on the opening sales price* in Wellington. Continental and American buyers were not operating in so spirited a manner, while Bradford was buying very cautiously. At the time the message was sent 8:1 per cent, of the catalogue had been sold.
