CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. That vigilance committees should be appointed to combat the speeding ■motorist menace was the decision of the 'Council of the United Burgesses' Association last night. One speaker said that once magistrates had said they were going to send drunken motorists to gaol, but they had gone back on that.—Press Assn.
