PRISON REVOLT
CONVICTS SEIZE GUNS.
TWO WARDERS SHOT DEAD,
(Received 9.45 a.m.) NEW YORK, August 12.
In a concentrated riot in the Salem (Oregon) State prison tonight two guards, were shot to death and one convict was killed. Three gained their libeTty by a dash over the walls* Another guard was shot and may die. The convicts made a break for the prison arsenal and secured guns.— Renter.
