FUSION - ISSUE ALIVE. FINALITY HOPED FOR. WELLINGTON, This Day. Political fusion is still simmering. There have been several meetings between the leaders during the weekend, but the negotiations have not yetreached finality. Unless the unf orseen. happens, the Liberal Party will meet ir caucus tonight. It is confidently anticipated that this week will see matters settled one way or the other, but no official announcement is likely to be made as to who-, ther fusion is on or off until 'it can be done on the floor of the House. — Assn.
