COTTON WASTE.
Cotton waste is a most useful item to have in the kitchen. It <saves "burnt and scorched hands and does away with a lot of laundering of kitchen cloths ands rubers. It is cheap to buy. It will wipe up grease, mop up spilled liquids, nib down the top of a stove on which saucepans have boilod over, and save the hands touching greasy tins. There arc many other uses which suggest themselves, and it is burned after serving its purpose. The saving in time and labour is obvious.
